About
Welcome to B and R Dental Care's website. We are a family dental practice established over 60 years ago located at 2 centres, in the East Yorkshire port town Goole and also the nearby market town of Howden, 3 miles away.
We offer friendly, family dentistry with modern equipment in our 2 locations and currently have 4 dentists, a dental therapist, a hygienist, 1 OHE extended duties nurse, and of course our team of dental nurses and receptionists.
We aim to offer quality dental care for adults and children in a professional and relaxed environment. We also aim to have a happy and motivated workforce who work in a team to provide an excellent service to our patients through the NHS and on a private basis. We are happy to offer a full range of treatments at affordable prices.
Tim Blackmore BChD (UK)
I qualified in Leeds in 1990 and have worked in York and South Cave before moving to Goole and Howden in 1992. I became a partner in 2007. I will always provide you with the highest quality of care and have a friendly approach to keep you at ease during your visit.

Filip Roszkowski BDS (PL)
I am a graduate from the Medical University of Gdansk and joined the practice in 2007. I became a partner in 2015 with Tim. I have many interests in dentistry and particularly enjoy cosmetic dentistry. I will always provide you with the highest quality of care and have a friendly approach to keep you at ease during your appointment.

Natalia Joanna Sobczak BDS (PL)
I qualified in Poznan (Poland) in 2004 as a Dentist and joined the team in September 2018 working in both Goole and Howden practices. I pride myself on offering high quality care and commitment to my patients.

Katherine Hubbard BDS BSc (hons)
I graduated with 1st class honours degree in physiology from the University of Liverpool and BDS from Peninsula dental school, universities of Exeter and Plymouth in 2015. I joined the team in 2022 and work at both Goole and Howden surgeries. I strive to provide high quality care for all my patients and find it particularly rewarding to help nervous patients overcome their fear of the dentist.

Helen Stothard EDH (UK)
I qualified in Leeds in 1998 as a Dental Hygienist and joined the team in 2001. I enjoy the positive outcomes to dental health that I offer my patients. I have also been instrumental in the important aspects of dental management in the practice. Recently I have been a key leader in community oral health.

I qualified in Sheffield in 2018 as a Dental Therapist and joined the team in 2021. I work at both Goole and Howden surgeries. I like to build rapport with my patients and this helps the outcome of the treatments I deliver.

Paula Redman, Financial and Howden Based Practice Manager, Dental Nurse

I started my employment in 1985 as a dental nurse, working alongside different dentists. In 2018 I was promoted to practice manager based in the Howden branch. I enjoy training new members of staff and keeping up to date with all the relevant training. I also work as receptionist and am a qualified first aider.

I started working for this practice in 1995. I am a GDC registered dental nurse and work mainly in the surgery alongside Mr T Blackmore, I also run Oral Health Education clinics within the practice an co-ordinate visits in the local community.

Having previously been a qualified veterinary nurse for over 18 years I decided to have a total change of career and so I joined the practice in 2014. In 2018 I gained my qualification in dental nursing and work in both Goole and Howden alongside Miss N Sobczak.

Jaymie Dunne, Dental Nurse
I too joined the team 2018, working in both our surgeries at Goole and Howden. I trained to become a Dental Nurse at the practice and gained my nursing qualification in 2022. I now work with different clinicians and as a decontamination nurse.
